DHHRM Free Entry – 80th Anniversary of D-Day

On Thursday, June 6, the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum is offering free admission in honor of the 80th anniversary of D-Day, which marks the World War II landings along the Normandy coast that are often referred to as the beginning of the end of the war. In commemoration of the day, the Museum will be open until 8 p.m. and will offer:

  • Film screenings of Hope, Strength, Resolve (10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.) and Ike: Countdown to D-Day (11:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.) in our Cinemark Theater.
  • A musical performance by the Oak Lawn Band from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
  • A late-night bar from 5:00-7:30 p.m.

Visitors are encouraged to reserve tickets online in advance. Walk-ins will be accommodated based on availability. Free admission and programming are made possible through the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture.
