Through arts and crafts, music and educational exhibits, the 64 years of Israel’s history came to life last Thursday evening, when the Aaron Family JCC had its Israel Independence Day celebration. The J was transformed into a mini-Israel, with the unique aspects of each city highlighted. A petting zoo represented animals found in Israel, and various arts stations provided opportunities for participants of all ages.
