Hoops for peace: $44K raised for terror victims

Yavneh Academy’s Students Against Terrorism hosted its 13th Points for Peace 3-on-3 basketball tournament March 29 at the Aaron Family Jewish Community Center.
The organization raised $14,000 Sunday and $44,000 in all for Camp Koby, a sleep-away summer camp in Israel for victims of terror and their families.
This year 55 teams participated in the daylong event said Grant Prengler, co-chair along with fellow Yavneh senior Hadas Cohen.
Rounding out the SAT board are Risa Mond (11), Steve Levine (11), Erin Wernick (12), Noah Rubinstein (10), Jonathan Nurko (10), Benji Zoller (11), Scott Lacritz (12), Samantha Harris (12) and Brennan Bliss (9).
