TJP staff report
The inaugural International Kosher Food, Wine and Spirits Festival will offer an evening of global flavors, community and charitable impact on Thursday, May 14, from 6:15–8:30 p.m. The North Dallas location will be provided upon registration.
Tickets are $120 per person and include a curated tasting experience featuring kosher cuisine from around the world, including Texas, England, Thailand, Morocco, the United States, Italy, South Africa, Mexico, Israel, Greece, China and Japan. Guests will also sample a wide selection of kosher wines and spirits.
In addition to the culinary offerings, the event will feature live entertainment, silent and live auctions, a raffle and a marketplace of Judaica gifts and jewelry.
The festival is hosted by the Hebrew Order of David Shimon Peres Lodge, a Dallas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit fraternal organization. Founded in 1904, the organization promotes brotherhood, community service and charitable giving, bringing Jewish men together in leadership and philanthropy locally and globally.
Proceeds will benefit three organizations:
- Hatzalah Judea and Samaria (Rescuers Without Borders) provides emergency medical services throughout Israel. The organization is currently supporting more than 3,000 children suffering from PTSD related to the Nova Festival attack and other war-related trauma, offering both emergency response and long-term psychological care.
- The Friendship Circle of Dallas connects volunteers with children and young adults with special needs, fostering inclusion through recreational, social, educational and vocational programming while supporting families across the Dallas community.
- Mothers Against College Antisemitism (MACA) is a growing national network working to combat antisemitism on college campuses through advocacy, education and direct engagement to ensure Jewish students feel safe and supported.
Organizers say the event aims to celebrate Jewish culture through food and wine while supporting critical causes at home and abroad.
