Day 33 and counting

Lag B’Omer — a day that marks the 33rd day in the Counting of the Omer and a day in which all restrictions of mourning are lifted, according to some sources. Picnics, outings and field days all are a part of the celebration.
Local synagogues and schools took part in festivities surrounding the day.
