Spreading good cheer

Some 170 young adults participated in Mitzvah Day June 22, hosted by the Young Adult Division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas.
Participants volunteered their time for activities including arts and crafts projects for children, assembling bags for new moms and siblings at Medical City, making and delivering flower arrangements to Holocaust survivors, visiting residents the Legacy Preston Hollow and Legacy Willow Bend and hanging out with residents at CHAI Houses Levy and Todd.
Three outdoor projects had to be canceled due to rain. The day was split into a morning and afternoon shift and included lunch in between at the Federation.
