Following a strong start to the year that included visits from Israel Ambassador to the United States Dr. Yechiel Leiter and retired U.S. Army Maj. John Spencer, chair of urban warfare studies at the Modern War Institute at West Point, the Jewish Federation of Fort Worth & Tarrant County has announced several upcoming community events.

The Tarrant County Twenties and the Network Society (30s and 40s) Shabbat dinner planned for Jan. 23 was canceled due to inclement weather. For information and to RSVP for the rescheduled event, contact Cindy Simon at c.simon@tarrantfederation.org.

Cowtowners know that when the weather turns colder, it must be time for the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. The Federation will host Jewish Heritage Night at the Stock Show & Rodeo on Thursday, Feb. 5. A block of tickets is available for purchase at tarrantfederation.org.

The Federation will also host its 2026 Annual Campaign Kickoff from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, at the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens Lecture Hall. The theme of this year’s event is “Roots & Renewal.” Featured guest speaker will be Saul Blinkoff, a Hollywood director and former Disney animator. The cost is $65 per person. Tickets may be purchased at tarrantfederation.org.
